St Luke’s Online Sunday Morning Service

To catch up with previous talks you can visit St Lukes Lodge Moor YouTube channel here.

Looking for something a bit different this Sunday? Why not try St Luke’s Connect. Our mission is to connect with God and each other through an inclusive & welcoming online community that is enthusiastic, relevant & challenging. The service is available from 9.30am on Sunday and open to anyone, whether you are just looking or whether you’ve been a part of the church for many years. We aim to worship, pray and learn in a way that builds up, inspires and speaks into everyday life.

Go to the St Luke’s Lodge Moor YouTube channel using this link or searching for us on YouTube. Then just click on the video for this Sunday and join us as we explore what it means to be Christians in this ever-changing life.

Black Lives Matter Statement

At St Luke’s we are deeply saddened by the recent killing of George Floyd in America and the circumstances surrounding his death.  Racism is evident in our society as well.  We recognise that we also fall short.

We have much to learn too about racism and fighting it wherever it is found.  Black Lives Matter “Now is a time to listen, and to learn.  We stand together for dignity, equality and justice”  Sarah Mullaly, Bishop of London

“Let us be clear: racism is an affront to God.  It is born out of ignorance and must be eradicated.”  Archbishops Welby and Sentamu

Coronavirus update

Following recent government guidance, we hope to be able to reopen Church for services in the coming weeks, but for the present, public worship is still suspended at St. Luke’s Church, Lodge Moor.
